Description

Expanded metal or Expanded mesh is a type of sheet metal which has been cut and stretched to form a regular pattern (often diamond-shaped). It is commonly used for fences and gates.

Expanded metal is stronger than an equivalent weight of wire mesh, because the material is flattened, allowing the metal to stay in one piece. The metal is never completely cut or reconnected, allowing the material to retain its strength.

Expanded metal is frequently used to make fences, walkways etc., as the material is very durable and strong, lighter and less expensive wire mesh.

Our expanded metal is a durable material that is frequently used to for machine guarding, trailer flooring, filters, separators, baskets, sunshades, storage bins, rack flooring, fencing, and walkway flooring.

Galvanized, aluminum and stainless steel expanded metal is not easily damaged by environmental factors, such as water damage and corrosion, which makes it a perfect choice for exterior applications.
